In 2020, Biomed’s online store was in need of reform, and the store was anyway small compared to the size of the company. The pages also needed several different features that were missing from the pages.
Biomed’s goal was to make the new pages wider, clearer and more dynamic. We also wanted to manage the use of the pages in such a way that the pages could not be broken easily.
One of the most important things from the beginning has been that the pages should be light, because Biomed’s store itself is quite large and the number of visitors is large.
Page monitoring and advertising opportunities were also important.
The operation of the website was redesigned quite thoroughly and a visual appearance was drawn, which Biomed was able to influence. The plan took into account Biomed’s products and appearance, and we think we succeeded quite well.
The theme of the pages ended up being completely manually coded so that the page code would be as light and fast as possible. We also introduced Curu’s modern mobile menu and created a product menu on the side of the page, where the customer can browse product categories.
Biomed’s online store has certainly been one of the most educational online store projects in Curu’s history, if only because of Biomed’s experienced and professional marketing team.
